TABLE RUNNER ... BRIDAL SHOWER

I attended a bridal shower for Jenna
the daughter of very close friends...
Her kitchen is in the earth tones...
heavy on the orange and olive green.
This table runner wipped up quickly
and worked so well with the colours of choice.

Following the zig zag pattern
worked well for the quilting too.
I still need alot of practise ... !!!
 doing the free motion quilting.

JUST FOR FUN...

Raymond has such a cute quilting shop...
This past summer Jessie and I saw this quilt
 and decided to try it...
all charm squares sewed on top of muslin top.
No set in squares just top stitch on ...
sewing one continual line from the top of the quilt to the bottom and then turn and sew from top to bottom ...
all four sides are sewn down.
When all bound and finished I tea dyed...
and washed and dried in the dryer...
making it look old..
It was really quick and fun.

ANISTON'S ...

Jessica had the pink and green stripe fabric left over from
doing the nursery  and wanted a quilt to match... we had seen a cute baby quilt in one of my magazines and used the same idea for a quilt for Aniston.

It was a fun pattern to do...
It was a first for using large rick rack ...
 I did learn however...
I will just straight sew on the rick rack
and not try to follow the ups and downs.

LILY.. dot to dot quilt

This is Miss Lily's Dot to Dot Quilt..
Log Cabin style

Gathered as many "DOT" fabrics as possible

Finally Lily's quilt is finished, and bound.

I just might get all the quilts done by this Christmas...
9 more to complete...
7 of the 9 tops are done
just have to back, quilt and bind.
